Posted: Thu May 14, 2009 1:28 pmwell lads the recession is hitting fairly hard so i am considering selling my rs. Its a genuine Irish reg cork car. I bought it last year and have had some work done since, when i got her she wasn't running too sweet so i got top half of engine stripped and rebuilt all new gaskets and seals new timing belt, fitted a brand new carb as the old one was getting choked, also when i got her the brakes were seizing so i put on two new/reconditioned calipers and new brake pads also put new brake shoes on the back, it had a full stainless exhaust with just one box at the back but was far too loud so i got another box put in it now sounds far better,i got the starter rebuilt and fitted a new battery this car starts no bother even if not used for a few weeks. the car has a 5 speed gearbox and it also has an LSD. it drives excellent now and has whacks of power.
interior
it has a brown interior, seats are in good cond as is the carpet, dash is uncracked and has original radio where it should be however a cd player has been fitted hidden in the glove box. some numpty put speakers in the door cards at some stage unfortunately.the rev counter isnt workin.
exterior
the body work on this car is really good and polishes up really well,the only tin worm is on the passenger door where it is just startin to bubble on the bottom corner. whoever sprayed the nosecone forgot to put in plasticiser so there are some tiny hairline cracks where its begining to crack but can only be seen close up.the window rubber on drivers and passenger door is cracked and chapped.

in these photos it has wolfrace slotmags with 4 brand new tyres, but i also have original 4 spoke rs wheels also with 4 brand new tyres if the buyer prefers.
well thats it, if anyone lookin for a good original irish rs this is it, its not 100% but its not far off, with a little tlc could be one of the best. i will advertise her here and another couple of forums for a week or so after that i will probably start advertising on the mainstream car sites.

between buyin this car and doing the bits and pieces, it stands me not far off 13000, however i would be looking for 11000 euro or very nearest offer, if anyone interested pm me thanks.
