Ok, So the last post was about the changes to the rear end over the years - now onto the front end (Still covering bodywork - next post will be the grubby bits!)

As I bought her:

She stayed like this (with a change of numberplate and headlight wipers) for the next 4 years!
Until she came off the road for this restoration/conversion:

where the progress was made quickly
Cosworth front bumper (needs mounts)

Cosworth 4x4 Bonnet

Cosworth Grille
Cant Find a Pic of it - will get one next time im working on the car
And all Painted up......
This will have to wait till after its painted

 1.8!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Not been a 1.8 for over 3 years :p And Sierra ownership is not all about drifting ;)

It saw off many chavs as a 1.8 - and twice as many as a 2.0 DOHC it was converted to

We will see what it will do as a cossie ;)

Pinto EFI is 115 BHP standard
DOHC EFI is 125 BHP Standard

mpg has never been the strength of the car - on a run i could eak 40mpg if i was very easy on the throttle - the reality was 32mpg it usual motorway cruising speed - althoguht i did see 23mpg on average on a long run

however it has been as low as 6mpg around town

rebuild goin well there, she will be nice 8-) as for the fuel i would think the twincam engines would be better on juice than the pintos, more modern set up etc. :? sierras not really cheap motorin but by jaysus they are worth every penny i would way prefer drive a shite sierra than a minty corsa or something
