The original style of powerplant being removed for the last time

After this - we put in an EFI 2.0 Twincam

And the bay looked something like this (not the first engine but it was running at the time (albeit the final engine about to be disconnected)

After On the 1st Twinky we had a small issue with changing gear - i thought it was the gearbox but it turned out to be this:

A random shot between twincam engines

Ready for its last twincam to come out

And as it stands now - 4 twincams later

Now onto the cleanup of the engine bay and then onto its next engine

yes

Powered by YB

I had a good spec engine 3-4 years ago to go into the car - but money got tight and i had to sell the thing :( was mint with receipts for everything

im now on the lookout for a rotten (read cheap) saph cossie for its running gear - I may have one lined up but it all depends when the pennies are free to buy it to break for parts and how quick my mate wants rid of the thing.

But in the mean time its a tidy up on the rust, and then get the paint sorted and the bodykit mounted properly! Today my alloy sideskirt clips arrived from CDF Racing so now all i need to sort out is the bumper mounts and a set of jacking point covers!

tax is the same for a cossie and a twink/CVH - so no money saved there

And all mods will be declared on the car

and another of the mods has just caused the postie a arm strain

These will be going off for reconditioning - but lets see if you can guess what they cost ;)

Still cleaning up the underside of it, then we will get her to my bodyshop guy who will work his magic, and onto the fun bit..... bolting it together and wiring her up ;)
