New member, not new to Sierra's

Postby Rob » Tue Apr 20, 2010 11:36 pm

Hi guys, new to this site, is this an offshoot of FSOC or an independent state?
I can never get on there because of the ID code to log on, and have since given up.
I like the look of this site, and if I can get the Sierra i'm after, will be spending plenty of time on here!
I've so far had two DOHC's, three 4x4's, and now look to be getting a Pinto.

Regards

Rob

Thanks Paddy, I am based in sunny Essex, so naturally I've owned the obligatory white 2.9 XR4x4, and grey 2.8 XR4x4 and a black 2.9 4x4. There was also a 2.0 4x4 Saph, a 2.0 DOHC Ghia Saph and an Estate or two as well.
I've just put a deposit on a 2.0 Pinto and hope to be picking it up at the weekend, fingers crossed.
No matter how many I have, I keep going back to them- I think I need help.

I'll post some photo's up when I know the car is mine, I'm too old to be as excited about an old car like this, but I can't help it

Thanks again

Rob

Nice collection. Good luck with it, and get some pics up of your past cars as well as the new one if you can :)

We are an independent site, I have nothing against anyone on the FSOC however Id rather have a single forum with no seperation between those paying members and those that are not paying members ;)

I know where your coming from Nate, but as I can't even log on there, you're not offending me :D

I have put a deposit down on this

And hope to be picking it up Sunday.

31k from new, FSH history, not modified or altered, just as the good Ford intended 8-)

I'll get some better pics up if I'm lucky enough to land the deal.

yay!
I got it, and having looked at the service records, it's done between 2-300 miles in 2 years, and then I drive it 130 miles home in one hit

It drove impeccably, and apart from it not having power steering, it is good fun the drive about in.

I look forward to 1/2 a day to clean it up, and do a couple of minor jobs on it, namely a little bit of rust on the lower sills/arch corners, and the paint desparately needs some wax, as I fear it's not been done in 20 years, I'll be claying it for ages!!

Happy days
