isnt it annoying? seems any red sierra i've ever owned is a gay sierra... they all want to turn pink. and want nightmare amounts of polishing.

Ya I have two red ones and they are pink, one has a repainted back doorso it stands out like a sore thumb! ;)

Yeah that works. Takes ages of elbow grease though. Annoying thing is they'll fade back to pink again after a while

oh i know about fords Radient Pink!

my saph is one of the cars - trouble is if you t-cut it to many times you go through the paint :(

the only way to fix it long term - is to get a sprayover done on the car - and take the chance to fix any other bodywork issues :lol:

well they do yes. there is another option though, if you get too annoyed with polishing it, few cans of matte black and away you go

What a pain they are ;) New back door Nath :? What is it with Sierra's and back doors, both of mine have one bad one each, have a pair of good doors though! :D

it happens most solid colorsmblack is a bastard too not just ford either its across the board sun it a terror...get a mop and compound fly over car in 20 min. be lucky its polish able..ive seen some yokes that were red base coat under lacquer now that sh1t ant gonna polish out

matte black is dead easy to redo though as all you need is a few cans basically and the finish isnt that important, though obviously if you want it all shiny then thats not the way to go
